🔭 The Vespera telescope: astronomy accessible to all

Since October 2022, the Maison des Étoiles has been equipped with the Vespera smart telescope , developed by the French start-up Vaonis in Castelnau-le-Lez (Hérault).
This new generation smart telescope simplifies observing the sky: It automatically locates stars, follows their movements and captures spectacular images, without the need for complicated settings.
An immersive experience that allows everyone — beginner or enthusiast — to travel to the heart of the universe .

💫 Technology that reveals the beauty of the deep sky

Using real-time image stacking technology, Vespera captures multiple short exposures of the same celestial object (nebula, galaxy, star cluster).
Each image is automatically aligned and merged: details are refined, noise disappears and colors are gradually revealed.
Result: an image of incredible precision and richness , visible live on a tablet or smartphone.
The longer you observe, the more the universe reveals itself to you.
